Q: Do you offer house-sits or drop-in care with aggressively reactive or defensive dogs?

A: I am not a good fit for reactive dogs who may growl or bite humans during regular activities like me being inside the home, letting them out, putting a leash on them, walking and feeding them. However, if your dog is sensitive to specific avoidable situations such as having their feet touched, being picked up, or minor resource guarding, I can adapt around that.

Q: Can you take my dog to vet or grooming appointments?

A: Yes! If the desired location is within 5 miles of your home it is free. If the drive is further than that, I charge $20 for the visit.

Q: Do you take dogs to dog parks?

A: I only take client’s fur babies to dog parks if both of these conditions are met: you specifically request it, and your dog is comfortable with a wide range of type types and personalities.

Q: Do you take dogs on off-leash walks?

A: Yes! Only with your express permission and if your dog first proves they have excellent recall with me while on a long lead.

Q: How do I pay invoices?

A: I accept invoices through your client portal on TimeToPet (I will help you create a client account if you book with me).

Q: Do I need to pay my house-sit invoice all at once?

A: Upon request, you can pay half up front and the remainder within 7 days after the booking is completed.

Q: Do you house-sit with homes that have cameras?

A: Yes! I understand that some clients are more sensitive to develop trust and/or prefer to have video documentation “just in case” as a result of previous bad experiences. I just require you to tell me they are there, and for no cameras to be in the bedroom I will be sleeping in, or the bathrooms of course.
