Privacy Policy

I will collect your personal information, including email address, phone number, mailing and home addresses, and (if you choose credit card payments), credit card information. I collect your information through you filling out the intake or contact forms on my website, by email, and in person at the point of sale. I need your information so I can properly contact you, bill you for services, and care for your dog(s).

I implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Client contact information may be shared with dog care professionals to refer you to their services, if you give express written permission for me to do so. No other client information is shared for any reason. No data is shared with service providers or partners for operational purposes.

All sharing mentioned in this policy excludes mobile opt-in and consent; opt-in information is never shared with anyone for any purpose. Message frequency varies.

Meet & Greet Policy:

Meet & greets in your home are required before booking any services with me. Your dog must become familiar with me first under your supervision.

Please schedule a Meet & Greet by reaching out through phone, email, or my website’s contact form!

Cancellation Policy:

Notice of 24 hours or less results in a cancellation fee that is 50% of your booking.

Same day cancellations (from midnight to midnight on the booking date) result in a cancellation fee that is 100% of your booking (if you haven’t prepaid) or no refund (if you’ve prepaid).

Booking Fee Policy:

For services that are booked 30 or more days in advance, a 20% booking fee is required - OR you can book and pay in full less than 30 days prior to the booking date to avoid a deposit. If my availability changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, your booking payment and fee will be fully refunded.

Lockbox & Entry Method Policy:

If you want me to pick up your dog when you aren’t home, and your entry method requires a key, a lock box must be present before services can begin.

If your entry method requires a key and you don’t have your own lockbox, and you prefer the convenience of obtaining one from me, I will supply a Master Lock lockbox for a $30 fee.

If your method of entry is keyless, your codes are stored securely in my software.

Vaccination & Meds Policy:

You must provide proof that your dog has been vaccinated before nature hikes can begin. Please see my Nature Hikes and Documents page for more info.

Off-leash Hiking Policy

Dogs are only granted the privilege of off-leash hiking once I observe their consistent demonstration of excellent recall and perfect friendliness to people and dogs.

Cat Policy:

I am allergic to cats, and I don’t housesit with cats or in homes where cats have recently lived. If I experience breathing issues or strong allergies I may need to cancel an incompleted booking. In this case there is no refund offered.

Photo Policy

Photos I take of your dog are my property and I have the right to use them on social media, my website and for marketing purposes- unless there is something identifiable in the photo that is an infringement on your privacy and safety. In this case please just let me know so I can remove it.

Software & Payment Policy

You must have a TimeToPet account to book my services (I will create an account for you and you will receive an email asking you to activate your account). Your invoices are exclusively received and paid through your TimeToPet portal.
